- Greets patients entering the practice.
- Manages office communications, including answering phones, making, confirming, and rescheduling patient appointments.
- Checks in patients, collects accurate patient demographics, verifies insurance, and enters data into the electronic system.
- Checks out patients and assists them with referral processing and scheduling.
- Collects co‑pays and posts charges.
- Processes charge entry and patient balances.
- Distributes information to patients regarding office policies, procedures, and practice information.
- Explains the patient portal and assists with patient enrollment.
- Performs additional responsibilities as needed.
- High school diploma/GED
- One year customer service experience, preferably in a hospital or physician office setting.
$500 sign‑on bonus for new hires only!
