As a Pharmacist In Charge
, you will be responsible for maintaining productivity and quality standards, as well as legal and company compliance, as you assist in the preparation of prescriptions in a variety of settings.

Job Specifics and Requirements
  • Area: Must be able to work in Phoenix, AZ
  • Licensure Requirements: Must have open, active, and in good standing AZ State Pharmacist License
  • Education: Pharm.

  • Experience Needed: 2+ years in a retail setting, including previous management experience
  • Schedule: Full-Time
  • Pay: $145,000-$150,000 DOE
  • Background/ Drug Requirements: Ability to successfully complete background check, health and drug screen
Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee all daily pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations
  • Manage prescription filling, verification, and dispensing processes to ensure accuracy and patient safety
  • Supervise pharmacy staff including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support personnel
  • Maintain inventory control and ordering systems to ensure optimal stock levels
  • Counsel patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve prescription issues and optimize patient care
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance programs and standard operating procedures
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Monitor controlled substance handling and maintain DEA compliance
  • Participate in medication therapy management and immunization programs
  • Stay current with new medications, treatment protocols, and pharmacy best practices
  • Manage budgets and contribute to the financial success of the pharmacy
