We’re an independent K-12 day school catering to children with specific learning differences, located in Phoenix, Arizona. Responsibilities- Provide therapy under the direction of an on-site supervising Occupational Therapist
- Direct fun and engaging therapeutic treatment for individual sessions and classrooms
- Monitor student progress to ensure student is making progress on goals and/or focus areas
- Document data and progress on daily therapy notes and quarterly progress reports
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team of special education teachers, speech pathologists, psychologists, and occupational therapy team
- Preference 3+ years of experience as a COTA
- Experience in pediatrics with preference of experience in a school-based setting
- Current state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
- Demonstrates professionalism and maintains integrity
- Committed to providing quality care and actively contributing to a positive team environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize student needs and responsibilities
- Salaried position based on experience in a range o f $50,000 to 60,000 per year for a 40 hour work week
- School hours of 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. following a school calendar, with paid sick time, paid holidays, and paid time off
