Speech Language Pathologist
Location: 221 W 6th Ave., Mesa, AZ 85210
Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 annually, DOE impact education for underserved students. Join our community and help us the world, one student at a time.
Responsibilities- Screen and evaluate students with language difficulties or delayed development.
- Provide speech and language services in accordance with the student’s IEP.
- Participate as part of the multi-disciplinary team in reviewing qualifications of students with speech and language needs or delayed development.
- Prepare lesson plans for students in accordance with their IEPs and in conjunction with the classroom teacher.
- Prepare all local, state, and federal reports associated with student case load.
- Act as a resource on speech and language issues for the teacher, parents, and administration.
- Participate in initial and recurring training for the speech and language paraprofessional.
- Master’s degree with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competency).
- Additional certification for working with students with a speech and/or language disability.
- Must possess a valid Arizona Standard Certification issued by the Department of Education in the area of speech pathology and a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card OR must possess a state license issued by the Arizona Department of Health as a speech and language therapist/pathologist, and a Clearance 1 (IVP) Fingerprint Card.
