Radiology Tech Per Diem Rotating position open to qualified candidates.
ResponsibilitiesPerforms radiographic procedures to patients in accordance with departmental policy. Provides a variety of technical exams that require independent judgment to apply ionized radiation for radiologic diagnoses. Responsible for on-call procedures when indicated. Must be able to support surgery cases and pain management.
Special SkillsGood verbal communication skills necessary to understand oral and written instructions in radiological and medical terms and to exchange information with patients and staff.
SupervisesFunctional supervision will be exercised over students.
Education, Licensure, and ExperienceMinimum Education:
Completion of JRCERT approved formal program in Radiologic Technology.
Preferred Experience:
Minimum six (6) months clinical experience.
Required Certifications/Licensure:
Current American Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and Certified Radiology Tech (CRT), CPR.
