Job SummaryPerforms radiographic procedures to patients in accordance with departmental policy. Provides a variety of technical exams that require independent judgement to apply ionized radiation for radiologic diagnoses. Responsible for on‑call procedures when indicated. Must be able to perform surgery cases and pain management.
Special SkillsGood verbal communication skills necessary to understand oral and written instructions stated in radiological and medical terms and to exchange information with patients and staff.
Qualifications- Minimum education:
Completion of a JRCERT approved formal program in Radiologic Technology. - Preferred experience:
Minimum six months clinical experience. - Required certifications/licensure:
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT), CPR.
Produces high‑quality diagnostic radiographs, rotates through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology to include OR, urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements, and trauma; assists practitioner with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures and trauma.
