- Assess and re‑assess adult and geriatric patients with implanted cardiac devices
- Provide comprehensive follow‑up care for patients with implanted cardiac devices
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to adjust the plan of care as needed
- Assist in maintaining a current database for device clinic patients
- Knowledge and understanding of proper billing and reimbursement as it applies to implanted cardiac devices
- Assist in device clinic scheduling and triage patient phone calls
- Perform additional device testing and documentation as needed for A‑V and V‑V echo optimizations and clinical trials
- Competently provide patient teaching and resources (e.g., support groups, health fairs), and perform other office duties as assigned
- Maintain consistent pacemaker and ICD information and follow up on all enrolled pacemaker and ICD patients
- Graduate of an approved Cardiac Electrophysiology Technologist or Cardiovascular Technician program or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- BLS certification
- 1‑year cardiology experience
- 1‑year pacemaker experience preferred
