Terros Health is hiring a part-time Family Nurse Practitioner for our McDowell Health Center location in Phoenix, AZ.

- Salary Range: MSN: $57K-$59K DOE; DNP: $64K
- Additional Language Differential Pay Available (Spanish, Vietnamese, Korean, Arabic, Farsi, Swahili, ASL): $3/hour ($6,240 annually)
The Primary Care Provider conducts physicals/check-ups, medical evaluations, diagnostics, treats illnesses, orders lab tests, provides general and preventive care, prescribes and monitors medications, coordinates with other providers, makes specialty care referrals, educates patients about preventative care, establishes therapeutic relationships with a variety of patients for the purpose of establishing and reaching appropriate treatment goals, within the context of an integrated setting.
Duties include:
- Performs independently or as part of a treatment team.
- Conducts physicals/check-ups, evaluations, diagnostics, treats illnesses, orders lab tests, general and preventative care, medication prescribing and monitoring, and individual treatment and case consultation.
- Performs the important task of educating patients about preventative care, wellness activities and prescribed treatments.
- Provides leadership and cohesion within the clinic environment, and may provide direct supervision to other professional and/or non-professional medical staff and students.
- Participates in program evaluation procedures and professional record keeping, makes referrals appropriately for specialty and behavioral health care.
- Provides direct patient services not less than 85% of the work time.
- Employs therapeutic interventions appropriate for identified treatment issues.
- Seeks appropriate clinical supervision/support, when necessary, to ensure the provision of effective treatment.
- Establishes appropriate patient files that conform to agency guidelines, best professional practice and State licensing regulations.
