Recreational Therapist; Weekend Fri-Mon

Pay: $26.11 - $32.64 per hour

We are seeking a full‑time Recreational Therapist (including Music, Dance, Drama, Art, and Recreational Therapy specialties). The incumbent will develop outcome‑based treatment goals and interventions for patients based on clinical observations and assessments.

• Arizona Board of Recreation and Parks Certification:
  Recreation Therapist Certified (RTC), National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC), or a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) is required.
• Must be willing to work weekends.
• Completes activity therapy evaluations and progress notes within prescribed time frames and to a high standard of quality.
• Conducts group and individual activity therapy sessions as needed, demonstrating strong theoretical knowledge of group principles and techniques.
• Communicates effectively with families and outside agencies to promote referral development.

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for CMC Phoenix roles, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices etc. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that CMC Phoenix in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
