What We Are Looking For

Next Care Urgent Care seeks an energetic and enthusiastic Radiology Technician (RT) or Practical Technologist in Radiology (PTR) who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. We value customer-friendly and passionate employees committed to patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiology duties within scope and safety regulations.
  • Assist providers with exams, patient vitals, and procedures under supervision.
  • Administer medications as per policy and safety protocols.
  • Possibly conduct urine collection, splinting, casting, and physicals.
  • Notify providers of unusual patient occurrences and safety concerns.
  • Follow laboratory and clinical accreditation policies.
  • Proficient in EMR/EHR systems.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

The RT/PTR supports patient care with respect and dignity, providing services tailored to patient needs in the urgent care setting.

Minimum Education, Experience, and Skills

Education: High school diploma or equivalent, plus an accredited radiology diploma or certificate, or equivalent experience.

License: Certified Radiology Technician (RT) or Practical Technologist in Radiology (PTR).

Certification: Current CPR certification from AHA, ARC, ASHI, or NSC.
