The Elite Stylist engages with guests, provides consultations on hair care needs, recommends products and services, and delivers professional services that focus on the guest’s total look. They support the Experience Manager and Assistant Services Manager, emphasizing performance (service sales and productivity), people (guest service), and process (operating procedures and compliance).

• Perform hair services: design, haircuts, color, texture, treatments, styling, updos, perms, blowouts, keratin treatments, extensions, makeup applications, and ear piercing (where applicable).
• Meet or exceed the $1,900 average weekly sales goal and productivity goals for hair services; contribute to store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, and retail shrink.
• Perform product demonstrations and support in‑store events, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
• Stay informed about industry trends, products, and services; maintain knowledge of ingredients and benefits.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
• Develop guest relationships through consultations and appropriate recommendations.
• Serve all guests, including walk‑in guests, in a timely and efficient manner.
• Partner with skin therapists and the retail team to provide a total‑store experience.
• Build professional peer and brand partner relationships.
• Share benefits of the guest loyalty program and Ulta Beauty app.
• Attend mandatory trainings and meetings for continuous professional development.
• Be knowledgeable of Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and standards, and ensure compliance.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures before, during, and after services.
• Follow established service protocols to ensure a consistent guest experience.
• Use booking and clientele systems for appointments and events.
• Communicate supply needs to the Experience Manager.
• Maintain store operational standards, including cleanliness of salon, salesfloor, restrooms, backroom, and break area.
• Adhere to Ulta Beauty dress code.
• Implement loss prevention best practices.
• Execute other operational tasks as directed.

• Education – Cosmetology license.
• Experience – Previous relevant work experience required.
• Skills – Proficiency with salon techniques (haircutting, color, styling, etc.), use of equipment and chemicals, ability to demonstrate and sell pro hair care and makeup products, strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships and clientele.
• Special Position Requirements – Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Working Conditions – Continuous mobility during shift, continuous lifting/up to 10 lbs., frequent bending, reaching, and twisting during shift, ability to stand for long periods of time, continuous coordination and manipulation of objects.

$22.00 – $28.00 per hour (Phoenix, AZ)
