öz Position SummaryThis position works in the Program Services Unit of the Adult Probation Services Division (APSD). It supports all 15 counties in global positioning system operations and serves as a liaison with statewide vendors. Core duties include communicating alert information to officers, creating and revising tracking systems, ordering inventory, monitoring community notification levels, coordinating with county staff and vendors, tracking cases in vendor software, providing technical assistance for installations and removals, and tracking intercounty and interstate eligible cases.
Additional responsibilities include providing annual statewide training on statutes and policy, training county staff as requested, and assisting with other electronic monitoring projects. Remote work may be available based on business needs and completion of performance measures.

- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of related experience or equivalent.
- Extensive knowledge of probation supervision requirements, Arizona Revised Statutes, court orders, ACJA, Administrative Orders, and Administrative Directives related to probation supervision and GPS monitoring.
- Expertise in fieldwork with probation electronic monitoring systems.
- Ability to work effectively with personnel from other agencies, participate in committees, and collaborate on initiatives.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with exemplary written, verbal, and attention to detail.
- Effective project management experience, including setting priorities and monitoring deadlines.
- Proficiency in tracking databases, information technology, internet, and Microsoft products.
- Experience as an Arizona Probation or Surveillance officer within the Arizona Judicial System.
- Knowledge of Arizona GPS systems and databases, with direct experience tracking electronic monitoring programs.
- Travel up to 50% within Arizona.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis. Eligible candidates will be invited for interviews, which may include computer testing (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, proofreading, typing, etc.) and panel interviews.
