Under the general direction of the Policy and Community Partner Liaison, this position is responsible for analyzing reports received by the CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) and ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities include:
- Creating and updating Excel spreadsheets to track administrative tasks and revise desk procedures.
- Following up with data providers to request verification, validation, or correction of data listed on NCHS reports.
- Completing quality‑assurance reviews on scanned sealed records.
- Proofreading new or revised policies and desk procedures, then routing for approval.
- Updating the electronic policy index.
- Providing accurate program information through interpretation and application of Arizona law, rules, and policies.
- Analyze and research information listed on data feedback reports using the electronic vital records systems.
- Assist with shared responsibilities such as birth‑death matching, vital record updates, and social security file uploads/downloads.
- Prepare and review detailed usage reports for printed security paper, office mail, daily deposits of funds, and end‑of‑day close.
- Assist with administrative audits, scanning records, special projects, or other duties as assigned.
- Create and revise desk procedures and maintain Excel tracking tools.

High school diploma or equivalent and two years experience thumbnail in a related field.
Pre‑Employment Requirements- Driver’s License.
- Valid Level 1 fingerprint clearance card issued pursuant to Colorado; 36-113 наоборот.
