$115,000-$135,000 base salary (depending on experience)

Vaco has partnered with a respected company that is looking for their next Assistant Controller
. This role offers a significant work-life balance and competitive compensation package. The Assistant Controller will oversee month-end close, ensure compliance with GAAP, and manage key accounting functions, including AP, AR, and financial reporting.

• Lead month-end close, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Maintain and enforce accounting policies to mitigate financial risks.
• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with GAAP.
• Manage daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, and cost accounting.
• Supervise inventory controls and intercompany transactions for accuracy.

• 5+ years of Accounting experience required
• 2+ years of management experience preferred
• Bachelor's in Accounting or related field required

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
