Financial Analyst, Financial Manager
Position Summary
The Manager, Financial Support is responsible for providing financial analytics on consolidated results to senior management and quarterly to the Board of Directors. The Manager, Financial Support also plays a critical role in the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process.
Principle Responsibilities- Prepares executive-level financial support for monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc requests.
- Prepares SOX controls for company-wide P&L variance analysis.
- Lead the annual budget process; working collaboratively with functional departments.
- Prepares budget adjustments and maintains a reconciliation of all adjustments.
- Prepares analysis on EBITDA margins, including the impact of significant events.
- Manages monthly internal reporting presentation deck and participates in preparation of certain financial information therein.
- Provides financial support and financial information for the quarterly board of director meetings and quarterly earnings calls with investors.
- Subject matter expert in budgeting and forecasting process.
- Manages special projects requiring finance knowledge.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
- Experience conducting financial projects and statistical studies of a complex nature preferred.
- Proven knowledge of financial analysis, forecasting, strategic planning and interpretation of financial data.
- Knowledge of advanced corporate finance concepts.
- Highly motivated and a self-starter.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and the relationship between the balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement.
- Excellent self-review skills and ability to gather, interpret and present information accurately to Senior Management.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
- Team player, willing to learn and work with others to get the job done successfully.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Highly proficient Microsoft Excel skills, including development and use of financial models, pivot tables, graphs, macros and complex formulas.
- Proficient in the Microsoft product suite.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting.
