Senior Accountant

Overview

Construction accounting experience supporting multi-phase commercial/industrial projects in a mid-to-large sized company. Own key parts of month-end and quarter-end close. Strong reconciliations: bank, credit card, key GL. WIP:
Prepare and maintain Work in Progress schedules using percent complete and cost to complete. Solid financial reporting background. Cost accounting preferred. Degree highly preferred. Sage 100 preferred.

• Own key parts of month-end and quarter-end close.
• Perform strong reconciliations: bank, credit card, key GL.
• Prepare and maintain Work in Progress schedules using percent complete and cost to complete.
• Prepare conditional/unconditional lien waivers.
• Generate and analyze solid financial reports.
• Apply sales/use tax familiarity.
• Create Excel pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and other advanced functions.

• Sage 100
• Excel (advanced)
• Cost accounting
