Job Overview

Vaco is partnering with a leading client in Tempe, AZ to hire an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist. The ideal candidate will have high volume data entry and invoice processing experience. This opportunity offers a contract-to-hire path with competitive pay of up to $21/hour.

• Processing a high volume of supplier invoices accurately and promptly
• Completing all weekly and monthly payment runs in a timely and accurate manner
• Dealing with remittances
• Sorting, three‑company matching, coding, and obtaining approvals for payment
• Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, statements, etc.
• Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
• Maintaining historical records
• Paying vendors by scheduling  and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit
• Responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance

• Automated AP Processes

Determining compensation for this role is based on factors such as skill set, experience, training, location and other business needs. The salary range is indicated for jurisdictions requiring disclosure. The individual may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
