Pricing Data Manager

Responsible for functions involved in maintenance, analysis, and reporting of pricing activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the development and implementation of pricing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Identify opportunities for price optimization and revenue enhancement through the analysis of buying programs, discounting, and quoting practices.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, finance, and product management to align pricing strategies with overall business goals and initiatives.
• Lead the process of setting and approving prices for new and existing products, ensuring alignment with pricing guidelines, profitability targets and competitive positioning.
• Manage and approve quotes in Salesforce and JDE for the sales organization.
• Assist with the periodic (monthly, quarterly, annual) financial close process with a focus on performance metrics and dashboards to monitor the effectiveness of pricing strategies and track performance against targets.
• Responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the pricing data.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive continuous process improvements in pricing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.
• Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners while effectively communicating pricing strategies, insights, and recommendations.
• Perform analysis to determine optimal pricing for products by evaluating and considering production costs while considering competition, regulations and market conditions.
• Mentor and develop Pricing Analyst.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.

Education and/or

Experience:

• Education requirements:
  
  BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
• 5+ years in pricing, financial reporting, and analysis experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience or knowledge of JDE Enterprise 9.2 a plus
• Experience with analytical software a plus

This is an in-office role in Phoenix, AZ.
