Tax Associate – You will receive expert training and support from a dedicated team, allowing you flexibility and the opportunity to earn extra income while contributing your unique skills.

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face‑to‑face and via virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
• Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration.
• Continue to grow your tax expertise.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Previous experience in a customer‑service or retail environment.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, supportive environment.
• Availability to work a minimum of 25–35 hours weekly during the tax season, up to 40 hours during peak weeks.

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Comfort using virtual tools – video, phone, chat.
• Excellent communication skills in person, via phone, and in writing.
• Must meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or higher.
