We are seeking a proactive and self‑motivated Finance and Accounting Manager to join our Internal Accounting team.

With offices in Las Vegas, Nevada, as well as Nogales, Phoenix, and Tucson, Arizona, we provide comprehensive accounting, assurance, tax, and advisory services to domestic and international businesses, organizations, and entrepreneurs.
Position OverviewUnder the direction of the CFO, the Finance & Accounting Manager manages all aspects of the firm's daily accounting operations including the general ledger, accounts receivable and payable, and payroll. The Finance & Accounting Manager also oversees the annual budget process, financial reporting, cash management, and benchmarking analysis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Prepares monthly consolidated financial statements and corresponding schedules for the firm and associated organizations
- Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations (Prepares/review)
- Supervise AP process and accuracy of coding
- Prepares/review journal entries
- Prepares spreadsheets, schedules, and management reports as needed
- Manage assets in the fixed asset schedule
- Provides information for the firm's annual tax returns and affiliated organizations
- Monitors cash accounts and transfers funds between accounts as needed
- Review payroll and payroll related processes
- Ensure quarterly reconciliation of 401(k) contributions
- Manages financial survey processes
- Manages external reporting requirements and filings for multiple jurisdictions
- Stays current with industry best practices; recommends, and implements continuous improvement strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiencies
- Ensures Internal Accounting Department staff works cohesively and consistently delivers the highest quality internal and external client service
- Prepare and maintain accounting processes and controls documentation
- Help with special projects as needed
Skills and Abilities
- Consolidated financial statement experience
- Financial Planning & Analysis exposure
- Knowledge of payroll processing procedures and regulatory requirements a plus
- Advanced knowledge of ERP, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of Quickbooks and experience with ERP implementation a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Ability to appropriately handle confidential information
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to sort through information, assess priorities, and resolve problems efficiently and effectively
- 6‑10 years full‑cycle accounting experience, preferably in a professional services environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
