Fractional Nonprofit Tax Consultant

Vaco has partnered with anonprofithealthcarecompany that is in search of a Fractional Nonprofit Tax Consultant to navigate the tax and legal complexities of owning a for-profit subsidiary. The goal is to protect the Company's nonprofit status and assets while enabling compliant operations.

Fractional Nonprofit Tax Consultant

Short-term (TBD)

• Design governance/roles and produce SOPs
• Draft MSAs and intercompany arrangements, including pricing and documentation standards
• Structure and document intercompany loans/working capital support
• Establish banking architecture and chart of accounts
• Build financial workflows (AP/AR, allocations, UBIT tracking, etc.)

• BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong knowledge of Nonprofit Tax and GAAP Regulations (AZ experience preferred)
• Proven ability restructuring a nonprofit with a for-profit subsidiary (nonprofit experience required)
• Healthcare industry preferred
• Self-starter and ability to work independently
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

• the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
• licensure and certification requirements;
• office location and other geographic considerations;
• other business and organizational needs.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
