Compensation
Up to $95,000 base + 10% bonus
A publicly traded, multi-entity organization headquartered in Phoenix is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join its corporate tax team. This role offers meaningful exposure to corporate tax in a complex organization with diverse operations and international footprint. The Senior Tax Analyst will partner closely with experienced tax leadership and play a key role in tax compliance, reporting, and special projects within a collaborative, in-office culture.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and support federal, state, and local income tax compliance
- Assist with quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations (ASC 740)
- Prepare tax-related journal entries and support account reconciliations
- Partner with accounting and finance teams to gather and analyze tax data
- Support responses to tax notices and taxing authority inquiries
- Assist with tax audits and work directly with external advisors
- Support tax planning initiatives and special projects
- Maintain accurate tax documentation and work papers
- Stay current on tax law changes and assess impacts to the business
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 3+ years of tax experience in public accounting and/or corporate tax
- Corporate tax experience and public accounting backgrounds welcome
- Strong general accounting knowledge, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Experience working in a large, complex or multi-entity environment preferred
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
