Role DescriptionThe Director of SEC Reporting is a full-time, on-site role located in the Greater Phoenix Area. This role involves overseeing the preparation and filing of SEC reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and accounting standards. The Director will manage consolidation processes and financial reporting, collaborate with internal and external auditors, and maintain accurate financial documentation. Additionally, the role will include providing technical accounting guidance, identifying process improvements, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality financial information for stakeholders.
Qualifications- Strong knowledge of SEC reporting, US GAAP, and financial accounting standards
- Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and consolidation processes
- Demonstrated experience in financial analysis and effective collaboration with internal and external audit teams
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely financial filings
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation is highly preferred
- Proficiency in financial reporting software and advanced Excel skills
- Effective communication and leadership skills to manage and guide teams
- Prior experience in public accounting or with publicly traded companies is a plus
