About the PositionThe Finance Budget Analyst provides fiscal grants management, including professional technical assistance, preparation, and monitoring related to departments budget, all fiscal matters related to Housing Urban Development (HUD) grant, audits, and federal regulations while ensuring fiscal integrity of operations.

- Two years of professional‑level finance experience in budgeting, auditing, government finance, or grant accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, or related field
- Experience in public sector or non‑profit accounting or budgeting environment with specific experience in budgeting, auditing and grants accounting.
- Experience and knowledge of HUD grant programs, to include:
- HOME Investment Partnership Program
- HOME Investment Partnership Program- ARPA
- Community Development Block Grant
- Community Development Block Grant-COVID
- American Resue Plan (ARPA)
- Experience and knowledge of Integrated Disbursement & Information System (IDIS)
Reporting (50%):
- Assists with the preparation and submission of the HUD Consolidated Plan, Annual Action Plan, IDIS actives, Program Income reporting, Match reporting and Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER)
- Prepares and presents internal and external monthly financial status reports that include budget to actual and forecasts
- Performs complex accounting, budgeting, and forecasting functions, including but not limited to resolving complex financial and business issues, completing in‑depth financial analysis, and recommending/implementing new work processes, polices, and procedures
