We are seeking an experienced and motivated Manager, In-Game Entertainment to join our team. In this high-impact role, you will support all facets of Game Entertainment for Live Presentation, while playing a key role in broader department initiatives.
What Will You Do- Serve as primary game director for all Phoenix Mercury and Valley Suns games, while serving as a backup game director during select Phoenix Suns games.
- Responsible for creating and producing all Phoenix Mercury and Valley Suns games and producing select Phoenix Suns games which includes writing game night ROS and scripts.
- Collaborate with marketing, promotions, and Global Partnership Solution teams to create and execute in-game promotions, giveaways, and fan experiences ensuring all promotions and activations are executed at a high level.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of full-time, part-time, and seasonal staff for Phoenix Mercury and Valley Suns games. Fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence within the Live Presentation team. Including training, scheduling payroll, gameday execution, and evaluation.
- Manage and maintain all departmental invoicing and budgeting for Phoenix Mercury and Valley Suns Live Presentation categories.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Live entertainment and production skills preferred.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, work well under pressure, communicate clearly and effectively, and be detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently without supervision, be self-directed and proactive while being a strong team player and work collaboratively with others.
- Problem solve in a fast-paced environment while motivating staff and performers.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 5 or more years of related experience in directing/producing an in-arena sporting event including working knowledge of how to build scripts for live productions.
- Previous WNBA or NBA G League experience highly preferred.

- Ability to transit throughout the arena for various periods of time.
- Occasional travel from time to time for professional development.
- This position works mainly indoors, removed from extreme weather; exposure to weather minimal.
- S‑Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.
- Position is predominately computer-based, requiring the use of a computer monitor.
- Must be able to carry on a conversation both on the phone and in-person.
- Ability to read, write & speak in English.
