Part-Time Universal Banker Alhambra Branch

The Universal Banker is an entry level position responsible for the assistance in the execution of sales, products or service activities in coordination with the customer service team. The overall objective of this role is to foster relations with customers to build loyalty and to help increase sales to individual consumer clients.

• Assist in basic account opening for existing customers
• Provide service delivery to internal and external customers to resolve account service issues
• Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate
• Create sales opportunities from service transactions and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively
• Support sales/service activities within the branch by participating in seminars, micro-marketing events, promotional campaigns, product initiatives, etc.
• Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures to ensure the safety and security of customer and bank assets
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Previous retail banking or similar experience required
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

• High School diploma or equivalent

The salary range for this position is $47,510.00 - $61,990.00 annually (full-time) and is prorated for part‑time hires based on hours worked. The hourly rate corresponding to the annual range is $22.84 - $29.80.
