Role Overview- Greet guests, scan tickets upon entry, answer questions, assist with locating seats, and examine tickets for entry to various seat levels during the event.
- Assist with keeping the venue safe, clean, and presentable.
- Resolve guest complaints or problems.
- Examine tickets or passes to verify authenticity.
- Provide assistance to guests with special needs, including seat accommodations.
- Participate in venue recycling and sustainability efforts before, during, and after the show.
- Guide guests to exits and provide instructions or assistance in case of emergency.
- Assist in verifying staff credentials for restricted areas.
- Participate in sustainability programs, such as sorting waste, collecting recycling, and educating our fans about these efforts.
- Partner with fellow staff at the end of shows to close the venue—collect recyclables from lawns or reserved sections, pick up and properly store event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricades, etc.
- Assist patrons by giving directions to places inside or outside the venue.
- Ensure guests are safely enjoying the show.
- Perform additional tasks as requested by management.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- At least 1+ year in a guest service role preferred.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
- Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, occasional sitting, lifting and carrying 25 lbs.+.
