Our scope of services includes engineering design, high-tech factory planning, and on-time equipment and material delivery in which clean-room systems, HVAC, electrical systems, and tool hook-up, are all vital parts in need of total coordination.

United Integrated Services (USA) Corp. is seeking motivated undergraduate students in Junior and Senior years, with graduation dates between December 2026 and December 2027 to join our internship program this summer! Looking for motivated Architectural & MEP Engineering Intern to support integrated design-build projects for high-tech facilities.

This internship offers hands‑on exposure to a mix of architectural elements (layout planning, spatial coordination in clean rooms) and MEP systems focused on air abatement
, cleanroom environments,
plumbing
, mechanical (HVAC/process piping), and electrical infrastructure. Interns will contribute to real‑world applications in semiconductor manufacturing facilities, gaining experience in one of the most advanced construction sectors.

This internship provides hands‑on experience in construction management, field operations, and engineering support on active job sites. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining insight into project planning, execution, and problem‑solving in a real‑world setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in reviewing and coordinating architectural drawings, layouts, and spatial designs for cleanroom modules and facility zones.
  • Support MEP system design and coordination, including air abatement systems (exhaust, filtration, scrubbers, and pollution control for process gases/emissions).
  • Cleanroom construction (modular wall/floor/ceiling systems, airflow patterns, pressure control).
  • Mechanical systems (HVAC, process cooling, piping for utilities).
  • Plumbing (process piping, DI water, wastewater systems).
  • Electrical (power distribution, lighting, controls in controlled environments).
  • Participate in BIM/VDC (Building Information Modeling/Virtual Design & Construction) modeling and clash detection for MEP/architectural integration.
  • Help prepare technical documentation, submittals, RFIs, and as-built drawings.
  • Shadow field teams during installation, testing, and commissioning of systems onsite.
  • Conduct basic calculations, material take-offs, and support quality/safety inspections.
  • Collaborate with project engineers, subcontractors, and cross‑functional teams to ensure systems meet high‑tech industry standards (e.g., ISO cleanroom classifications, environmental compliance).
  • Contributes to project planning, scheduling, and coordination meetings.
Qualifications
  • Strong interest in high‑tech construction, HVAC, cleanroom technology, MEP systems, and semiconductor facility projects.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, or similar BIM software (preferred).
  • Familiarity with MEP principles, HVAC design, plumbing/electrical codes, or air handling systems is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced construction environment (office + field/site visits).
  • Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills and eagerness to learn.
Education/Experience
  • Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in an accredited university, in civil, electrical, mechanical engineering, construction management, or another related field.
  • Must be able to complete the full 10‑week program from May 2025 to August 2025.
