Mechanical Engineering Intern

DHE is looking for full or part-time mechanical engineering interns to work as part of an integrated, multi-disciplined design team in our Phoenix, Arizona office.

Candidates should currently be in pursuit of a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering (with a mechanical emphasis). Familiarity with Auto Cad, Revit, Word, and Excel would be helpful, but our team of experienced staff expects to work closely with the selected candidate(s) to grow in proficiency using these and a number of other field related software (ie. COMcheck or Carrier Hourly Analysis Program (HAP)).

Candidates therefore must be excited to learn, detailed, organized, personable, and driven to grow in knowledge and experience. DHAE has a strong history of maintaining repeat internships and permanently hiring interns upon graduation. Compensation will vary based on experience but typically ranges from $15-$25/hour.

• Actively in pursuit of a 4-year Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering (with a mechanical emphasis).
• School accreditations are appropriate for obtaining professional engineering licensure after required experience.
• Fluent in AutoCAD and/or Revit as well as Microsoft Office Suite, HAP, COMcheck, LEED, and/or pursuing commissioning credentials are a plus.
