Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

BAE Systems is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer based out of the Phoenix, Arizona site. In this role as a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, you'll be charged with implementing tools and processes to ensure suppliers are prepared and have robust plans to deliver timely and quality products to BAE Systems. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be tasked to investigate, evaluate, and resolve supplier quality problems by conducting audits, analyzing defect trends, and leading continuous improvement projects.

You'll conduct capability assessments that verify supplier qualifications, travel to assigned suppliers, and lead multiple projects to completion. A self-starting problem solver, you'll utilize analytical skills to find innovative solutions to quality-related issues. You'll disseminate information and direction ensuring supplier understanding of requirements and expectations, and maintain progress reports and present findings.
