Custom Control Sensors, LLC (CCS) is a global leader in the design, development, manufacturing and supply of pressure, temperature and liquid flow switches and sensors for the Aerospace, Defense and Industrial markets. Since 1957, CCS has been providing high reliability electro‑mechanical devices that utilize the “DUAL‑SNAP” action disc spring principle pioneered by Custom Control Sensors.
CCS’ Airborne Division provides standard and custom switches, sensors and transducers to the aerospace, defense, commercial aviation and government markets. CCS also supplies original PMA parts for various Boeing, Airbus and business aviation aircraft.

- Level 1 – Assist in supporting production and process improvements for aerospace‑grade pressure switches and transducers. Gain hands‑on experience with precision assembly, calibration, and inspection processes under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Level 2 – Own and optimize manufacturing processes for aerospace pressure switches and transducers. Improve yields, throughput, and quality through data‑driven analysis and process refinement. Support new designs through development to production.
- Senior – Lead manufacturing strategy and process improvement initiatives for aerospace‑qualified pressure switches and transducers. Serve as technical authority for assembly, calibration, and test processes. Drive productivity, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Support day‑to‑day manufacturing of pressure sensors, switches, and assemblies.
- Assist with documentation of assembly procedures, calibration steps, and inspection protocols.
- Help troubleshoot basic production issues, focusing on wiring, sensor alignment, and leak testing.
- Collect and analyze simple manufacturing data (e.g., yields, rework rates).
- Assist with implementation of lean improvements in work cells.
- Learn industry standards (AS9100, IPC‑A‑610, etc.) and support compliance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of processes, manufacturing procedures, material records, design concepts, tool/fixture drawings and shop orders in coordination with Engineering, Quality Assurance and R & D functions
- Develop and optimize assembly and calibration processes for electro‑mechanical pressure sensors.
- Analyze failure data and lead root cause investigations (e.g., electrical drift, seal leaks, calibration drift).
- Implement process controls (PFMEAs, control plans, work instructions).
- Support NPIs and design‑for‑manufacturability (DFM) efforts for custom transducer designs.
- Collaborate with quality engineering on nonconformance investigations and corrective actions.
- Evaluate tooling and test fixture needs and manage change control documentation.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, FAA, and NADCAP standards as applicable.
