Systems Engineer II - Flight Management Systems

Join a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex systems within Honeywell Aerospace. You will be integral in creating software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will have ownership of software at every aspect of the life‑cycle; from the front end of business development through product end of life. You will work across disciplines within the Electronic Systems business to drive growth and reach critical business milestones.

Be part of the Anthem Flight Management Solutions team. You will be a working with the team assuring to meet all technical requirements, support functional load deliveries and ultimately, supports certification requirements. You will coordinate with the team leader in the prioritization of work packages, design goals and objectives.

• Avionics or embedded Systems development
• Understanding of DO-178B/C
• Understanding of ARP-4754
• System requirement definition / testing
• Verification test plan experience
• ARINC 429 and signal debug capability
• Testing and Integration on test benches in labs
• Analytical skills & software development skills
• System Verification and Validation

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• 2 years of experience

• Flight Management or Flight Guidance Domain Experience
• Knowledge of software configuration and change management practices with DOORS NG and Atlassian tools
• Experience with Agile development processes
• Diverse and global teaming and collaboration
• Effective communicator
• Wide degree of creativity and latitude
• Business oriented approach to software development
