Position: Project Engineer - Military Fixed Wing

Job Description

As a Project Engineer 1 at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be responsible for managing and executing projects on the Military Fixed Wing (MFW) and Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) team which supports the F124 and other Unmanned CCA Propulsion solutions within the Aerospace business unit. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

You will report directly to our Project Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the success of our projects by ensuring timely delivery, managing project risks, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute projects within the MFW / CCA propulsion team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 3 months plus direct experience managing CCA engine projects
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering or related field
  • Strong technical expertise and understanding of project management principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong desire to learn, grow, improve skills and be a part of a team
