Hybrid Systems Engineer

Talascend is currently seeking a Systems Engineer for a contract opportunity with our client in Phoenix, Arizona
.

Hybrid role

8 am to 4:30 pm with 30 minute lunch break

Responsible for development, systems integration, and verification of core aircraft state and/or aircraft systems monitoring and synoptics applications to be hosted on the next generation avionics platform.

• Engineering or Computer Science degree.
• Model based systems engineering experience.
• Avionics experience.
• Embedded systems experience.
• Systems/software requirements development, Validation, Integration or Verification experience.
• Model based system design (using Simulink, preferred).
• Arinc 661 graphics development (using Scade, preferred).
• Experience working with sensors used for aircraft position / Navigation (Air Data, AHRS, GPS).
• Experience integrating or interfacing with aircraft systems (flaps, gear, cabin pressure, FADEC).
