This full‑time position combines technical engineering leadership with client coordination and project estimating, guiding projects from initial planning through final documentation and delivery. The role requires strong collaboration with design teams, contractors, and clients to ensure accurate, constructible, and timely engineering solutions.
Based in Phoenix, AZ, you will engage in projects ranging from new construction and tenant improvements to remodels and evaluations of existing structures. The ideal candidate has proven structural engineering experience, excels in consulting environments, and enjoys managing multiple projects while maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams across the Phoenix area.
Key Responsibilities- Lead commercial and residential structural projects from initiation to completion in Phoenix, AZ
- Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and cost estimates for structural engineering services
- Collaborate with engineers, drafters, architects, contractors, and municipal reviewers
- Oversee budgets, schedules, deliverables, and project scope adjustments
- Review structural plans and documentation for accuracy, clarity, and constructability
- Serve as the primary client contact, providing timely updates and managing expectations
- Assist in the preparation and revision of structural calculations and construction drawings
- Ensure projects meet quality standards and are delivered on schedule
- Experience in structural engineering project management, consulting, or estimating
- Strong knowledge of structural systems, construction documentation, and engineering workflows
