* Position Summary:

** Designs, develops, tests, evaluates and modifies products applying technical principles.
*
* Position Responsibilities:

*
* · Conducts engineering studies on design for products, associated and subsystems components, and structures.
· Analyzes engineering proposals, process requirements, and related technical data pertaining to product development.
· Uses computer-assisted engineering software and equipment.
· Analyzes product specifications and performance requirements to determine designs that can be produced by existing manufacturing facilities and methods.
· Analyzes test data and reports to determine if product meets functional and performance specifications.
· Works with research and other engineering personnel to prepare product modifications as required.
· Studies engineering and technical publications to keep abreast of technological changes and developments in industry.
· Assists in the development of preparations of product layout and detailed drawings and schematics.
· Runs up to five projects concurrently with significant oversight from management or more senior engineering staff.

Required:

** High school diploma or equivalent

Technical training or related certificate(s) preferred

** 4+ years of relevant product development technical experience
