Position: Dealer Performance Manager

Job Description

The Water Division of AECOM is actively seeking a Civil Technician for employment in the West Palm Beach, Florida office. The successful candidate will support the Water Resource design teams in South Florida by working to complete a variety of projects that involve water resources. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with a variety of exciting, challenging projects locally and worldwide.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Serve on project teams under the supervision of AECOM’s Project Managers
  • Independently perform most simple assignments with instructions as to the general results expected
  • Receive technical guidance and supervisory approval on proposed plans for projects.
  • Complete assignments on time and within budget and achieve firm’s quality objectives.

This is an exciting career opportunity which includes the following responsibilities:

  • General engineering design and preparation of contract plans and specifications, including calculations
  • Water resources design including Civil 3D design and creation of GIS maps
  • Support on simple calculations for hydraulic modeling and preparation of reports for water resources projects
  • Interact with multi-discipline and mutli office teams within AECOM and across various Departments within the Office and Region
  • Support for Construction Management Services and Engineer of Record for construction of water resources projects
  • Process survey data
  • Integration of information from different platforms like LiDAR, Drone data, 3D Laser scanning.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a related field plus 4 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Demonstrated experience with Civil 3D design, Infraworks, CADD, GIS/QGIS/Agisoft, ACC
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible and able to adapt to rapidly changing project requirements and deadlines.
  • Experience in the water/wastewater industry.
  • Ability to work with a diverse team.
