Layout Designer Job Description
We are seeking a talented Layout Designer with expertise in Revit, stakeholder management, and architectural layout for large-scale buildings. This role involves working on multiple commercial projects simultaneously, handling design reviews, and creating architectural layouts for structures exceeding 200,000 square feet.
Responsibilities- Obtain and document all specifics regarding projects from site selection and transaction management.
- Research and compile all available information for site.
- Coordinate all engineering and architectural specifications for each building type, including site-specific information and internal requirements.
- Manage initial architectural design and permit submittals.
- Develop supporting documents for lease execution, such as site plans and schedules.
- Create initial construction schedules and sequences for phasing of construction, if necessary.
- Generate construction estimates for capital requests and planning efforts.
- Oversee due diligence and utility coordination efforts prior to construction hand-off.
- Provide complete documentation for construction handoff, including drawings, permit status, and capital request breakdown.
- Maintain a repository for all pre-construction work products by site.

This role requires working onsite five days a week at either the Grace building or the Tempe, PHX location. The position involves using advanced design technologies and requires close coordination with multiple stakeholders across various locations.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
