US - Sr Advanced Hardware Engineer – Pacer Group
• Phoenix, AZ, United States

Pay rate: XX69XX
– 100% onsite – Must be US Citizen, no dual Citizenship

Qualifications & Experience
  • Must be a US citizen, no dual citizenship.
  • Required:

    4–6 years of experience in hardware design, development, and testing.
  • Proficiency with programming languages:
    Python, C, Lab Windows CVI, Lab View.
  • Experience with embedded OS, developing code from a schematic, and rack‑stack ATE / adapters and cable sets.
  • Familiarity with test certification processes such as DO‑160, DO‑178, DO‑254.
  • Experience leading a project and working with RF and test instruments.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze design requirements and develop Test Requirements Documents at the system level.
  • Develop test strategies, devices, and systems; perform stress and performance tests on computer hardware (circuit boards, processors, wiring).
  • Lead hardware design and development activities for new products.
  • Participate in full product life cycle, from concept through fabrication and qualification.
  • Provide guidance and oversight on testing practices and tools.

  • Which phases of the system life cycle are your strongest and which are your weakest? Why? Which do you enjoy most?
  • Discuss your experiences designing and developing test solutions.

  • Describe your experience leading a project.
  • Which test instruments and RF equipment are you experienced with?
  • What test certification process (DO‑160, DO‑178, DO‑254) are you familiar with?
  • What embedded OS have you worked with?
  • Describe your experience developing code based on a schematic.
  • Describe your experience developing rack‑stack ATE, adapters and cable sets.
