Principal Systems Safety Engineer

As a Principal Systems Safety Engineer at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our systems.

Your expertise and attention to detail will be instrumental in maintaining the highest level of safety for our products and solutions. Epic consists of heads‑up displays, touch screen controllers, flight management system, navigation system, communication systems, etc.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement safety strategies for our systems
Conduct hazard analyses and risk assessments
Provide guidance on safety regulations and standards
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure safety requirements are met
Participate in safety reviews and audits
Development and analysis of fault trees

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in systems safety engineering
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross‑functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Engineering or a related field
Certification in systems safety engineering
Experience in the aerospace or defense industry
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
Continuous learning mindset and willingness to stay updated with industry advancements
