Title: Analog IC Design Engineer, High-Speed

Duration: 12+ months with high possibilities of extension

Location: 100% Remote

Pay Range: $50-65/hr on W2

• Design high-performance and high-speed AMS circuits with a focus on transceivers and broadband circuits interfacing with silicon photonics elements.
• Document design simulations and verifications towards formal design reviews.
• Drive block-level floorplan, mask design, and their reviews.
• Run post‑layout and mixed‑signal top‑level simulations to validate integration.

• Experience designing Analog‑Front‑End blocks such as transimpedance amplifiers (TIA) and Tx driver.
• Experience and deep understanding of Tx/Rx equalization techniques and circuits (e.g., CTLE, VGA, impedance matching network).
• Experience designing Analog‑Front‑End blocks for Ser Des.
• Hands‑on design experience in TSMC N5 or N3 process node, from schematic to layout.
• Experience with 3D Electro‑Magnetic (EM) simulation tools.
• Excellent understanding of CMOS device characteristics, noise, mismatch, linearity, and design trade‑offs.
• Experience interfacing with silicon photonic modulators (MZM, Ring) is a plus.
