As a Traffic Operations & Safety Engineer, you will lead and support complex projects across Arizona, analyzing traffic data, developing projections, creating improvement strategies, and implementing advanced traffic management techniques. You will also document findings and pursue new project opportunities.

• 7+ years of traffic engineering experience, especially in freeway and arterial safety and operations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Arizona PE or TE registration.
• Extensive experience in transportation operations and analysis techniques.
• Knowledge of relevant manuals and software.
• Experience in diverse transportation projects and effective project management.
• Proficiency in software tools like Synchro, HCS, VISSIM, etc.

• ITS and TSMO experience.
• Experience with ATDM, ICE, ramp metering.
• Systems engineering familiarity.
• Public speaking and stakeholder engagement skills.

Salary range: $105,000 - $155,000 plus benefits, including health insurance, PTO, retirement, profit sharing, bonuses, and support for professional development.
