Are you a civil engineer with a passion for designing and delivering residential communities from the ground up? Here's your opportunity to step into a Project Engineer role where you’ll guide site development projects from initial concept through construction with one of the most active and established teams in the Phoenix area.
We’re looking for a motivated, detail-driven Project Engineer to help lead the charge on residential land development projects. You’ll collaborate with planners, designers, consultants, and contractors to bring new neighborhoods to life—while also mentoring younger engineers and making your mark on a growing, fast-paced organization.
What You’ll DoCoordinate and lead the technical execution of land development projects across multiple disciplines
Manage project schedules, budgets, and internal teams including EITs, CAD Designers, and outside consultants
Oversee engineering design and documentation—ensuring all work complies with codes, standards, and agency requirements
Serve as the day-to-day liaison with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies
Assist with construction phase services including site visits, submittal reviews, and contractor coordination
Interpret regulations and stay current on local, state, and federal development standards
Deliver quality work while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and ethical business conduct
Travel occasionally for site visits and project meetings
Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Arizona—or ability to obtain licensure
5+ years of land development experience, ideally with residential subdivision projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and project scheduling tools
Strong leadership skills with a collaborative, team-first mindset
Experience writing technical reports, proposals, and contract documents
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in writing and face-to-face
Willingness to travel overnight as needed
Ability to lead and mentor junior team members effectively
