Senior Advanced Systems Engineer – IFS Bombardier Applications

As a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer at Honeywell, you will lead a team of systems engineers in designing, developing, and delivering advanced systems. You will shape technological advancements, manage project portfolios, and work on IFS Systems Applications for Bombardier and PC24 programs.
Responsibilities- Requirements analysis, authoring various systems artifacts, and participating in all systems development activities and analysis across all aircraft sub-systems.
- Systems validation & verification – prepare detailed test plans, provide test coverage, execute on target bench, and report test results.
- Support execution of systems validation and verification on target bench and creation of associated reports.
- Work closely with Lead Systems Engineer to translate OEM technical requirements (TRD) into effective system design and requirements.
- Lead or support the development and implementation of MBSE solutions.
- Ensure model compliance with customer‑approved style guides and internal development plans.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 9 years of experience supporting avionics functions in various application areas.
- Expertise with Aerospace standards, Systems Architecture principles, ARP
4754A, and familiarity with DO178B/C.
- Advanced degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Experience in systems definition, requirements capture, systems test procedures, and reviews.
- Proven systems engineering expertise demonstrated on programs.
- Ability to identify and manage risks and opportunities with demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects.
- Good communicator of vision, ideas, and work requirements; demonstrated transformational results (innovation, productivity, technology) through cross‑collaboration.
