21 Semiconductor fab.
- Understand and apply 6S methodology in work spaces and processes to increase efficiency and safety.
- Provide support for operational and maintenance issues during and after normal business hours, leading troubleshooting and identifying countermeasures.
- Review and analyze data for equipment/systems to ensure they are running within specifications.
- Maintain a technical focus on problem solving, root cause analysis, engineering design, cost estimating, financial management, and project management.
- Forecast system capacity needs and develop plans to accommodate projected demand; analyze data to predict utility and chemical use.
- Plan and incorporate future‑ready techniques, concept development, operating strategies, and design requirements that ensure safety and functionality.
- Develop system documentation including PM/CM job plans, operating instructions, SOPs, OCAPs, and training; identify improvement opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to reduce overall cost through outsourcing, alternative suppliers, and PM frequency optimization.
- Forecast associated costs and manage expenditures for new construction or sustaining operations, reporting deviations to management.
- Integrate reliability focus and risk analysis, including FMEA, RCA, 8‑D problem solving for equipment failures or production impacts.
- Support other sections and/or departments as needed.
- Work closely with internal customers and service providers to prevent downtime, maximize performance, and maintain effective communication.
- Provide training and troubleshooting support to technicians to ensure safe work practices.
- Incorporate and standardize best practices into site specifications, standards, and procedures.
- Seek out innovative concepts and technologies and drive implementation.
- Perform additional duties as required, including emergency response tasks.
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
- Collaborative teamwork with technicians, supervisors, engineers, and managers.
- Proficient in engineering principles, practices, process design/build, permitting, and project work.
- Knowledge of infrastructure design and technical calculations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse audiences.
- Self‑leadership, attention to detail, multi‑tasking, and prioritization in a dynamic environment.
- Independent work with minimal oversight and leadership of technicians.
- Technical writing and proficiency with office software and design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, spreadsheets, and predictive models.
- Critical‑thinking and problem‑solving for data analysis, testing, and solution development.
- Effective coordination and directive oversight of subcontractors and other parties.
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related science field.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in facilities engineering; semiconductor experience preferred.
- Experience with industrial waste treatment, water treatment, or ultrapure water system design, construction, commissioning, and operations.
- Professional Engineer license.

- Lift up to 50 lbs and adjust heavy objects.
- Exposure to sharp, hot, and cold equipment and chemicals.

- Ability to climb ladders, work at elevation, and in confined spaces.
- Standard shift M–F 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
- May be required to work a compressed work week and a rotational night or swing shift.
- Scheduled night shifts and weekend on‑call rotations in a 24/7 high‑volume environment.
Candidates must be willing and able to work on‑site at our Phoenix, Arizona facility.
