We are hiring Commissioning Engineers to join our team on a large‑scale construction project in Phoenix, Arizona.
Duties and Responsibilities- Manage commissioning processes for data center systems.
- Conduct tests on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Prepare and maintain commissioning documentation, including test plans and reports.
- Work closely with contractors, vendors, and project managers to facilitate smooth operations.
- Identify and resolve issues during the commissioning phase.
- Ensure all systems meet regulatory and safety standards.
- Provide training to operational staff on system functionalities and maintenance.
- Assess system performance and recommend improvements.
- Stop the job if you encounter unsafe work practices that could result in risk of injury, environmental impact, or equipment/personnel risk.
- Carry out duties to meet Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements at all times.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in commissioning, particularly in data centers or similar facilities.
- Strong understanding of electrical or mechanical systems.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Commissioning Professional - CCP, LEED AP).
- Proficiency in commissioning software and diagnostic tools.
- Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
