Life Safety Systems Engineer (Construction Management)

As a Life Safety Systems Engineer, you will demonstrate a strong sense of reliability and enthusiasm and embody our core values:

- On‑site supervision and management of the construction and installation of life safety systems, ensuring compliance with design drawings, construction specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Coordinating and managing contractors to ensure construction progress, quality, and safety meet project requirements.
- Reviewing construction documents, shop drawings, and material submittals to ensure consistency with approved designs and specifications.
- Conducting periodic and ad‑hoc on‑site inspections to monitor construction quality, identify and resolve potential issues or non‑conformities.
- Responding to Requests for Information (RFIs) during the construction process and assisting in resolving technical issues that arise on‑site.
- Participating in and documenting meetings related to construction progress, quality, and safety, ensuring key decisions and action items are tracked.
- Assisting with the testing, commissioning, and final acceptance of life safety systems, ensuring their functionality meets design intent and operational requirements.
- Proactively communicating with internal teams and external contractors to ensure all stakeholders have a clear understanding of construction requirements and progress.
- Bachelor’s degree in fire protection engineering, mechanical engineering, construction management, or equivalent experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
- At least 1–3 years of experience in the U.S. in fire construction or a related field.
- Frequent grasping, manipulation, and occasional twisting, bending, stooping, squatting, or reaching; desk‑based computer work, including data analysis and documentation.
- Standard work hours:
Monday through Friday 8 AM–5 PM or 9 AM–6 PM.
Candidates must be willing and able to work on‑site at our Phoenix, Arizona facility.
