Lead Project Engineer

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid schedule. In this role, you will impact the successful execution and delivery of engineering projects, driving operational excellence and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in our aerospace business. • Lead and manage engineering projects from initiation to completion.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate and communicate with cross‑functional teams to ensure project success.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project team members.
• Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.

• 6+ years of experience in project engineering or related roles.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering engineering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Experience in risk management and problem‑solving.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Technical expertise in the relevant engineering discipline.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering or a related role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to lead and motivate cross‑functional teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
