We're looking for a full-time site Safety Coordinator who will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and will be directly reporting to the Safety and Training Director. The site Safety Coordinator must be task oriented, detail oriented, able to adapt to changes, and understand how to prioritize tasks to maintain a high level of safety.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Attend all safety meetings as required by company and general contractor
- Immediately report safety hazards, concerns, and violations to Safety Director
- Developing and implementing site specific health and safety plans'
- Conducting daily safety observation reports
- Conducting safety walks and inspections during the project to analyze safety risk and evaluating practices
- Educating employees on safety standards and expectations as well as safe equipment operation
- Creating and Enforcing policies to establish and maintain a safe work environment and culture
- Conducting onsite safety training sessions
- Investigating accidents and providing recommendations for improvement using RCS's and CAP'sCommunicate and enforce safety guidelines to employees and maintain safe workplace
- Creating and updating site specific SOPs
- Other duties as assigned by management
- Associate degree in safety management, occupational health or relevant field preferred**
- OSHA 30 required
** 2+ years' experience in the field as a safety operator or coordinator - Legal Understanding of health and safety guidelines
- Good Knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment
- Self-manage and motivated
