OverviewWe are seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to provide high-quality instructional services to kidos in grades K–12. This role supports individualized learning needs while collaborating closely with general education staff to develop and implement effective student programs, including specialized instruction, targeted interventions, and ongoing progress monitoring.
You’ll join a supportive team environment focused on helping every kiddo succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
Position Details Responsibilities- Deliver specialized instruction for K–12 kidos based on individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service staff, and administrators.
- Provide consultation, academic support, and adapted instruction aligned with student needs.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local special education regulations.
- Participate in team meetings, progress reviews, and required documentation.

- Virtual first-round interview; second-round includes an on-site visit.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred).
- Valid state teaching certificate as required.
- Minimum one year of experience in a teaching environment (preferred).
- Preferred certifications:
- Standard Elementary Teaching
- Standard Secondary Teaching
- Standard Special Teaching
- Preferred endorsement:
Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) - Current CPR (if applicable).
- TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable).
- Current Health Certificate (if required by state/contract).
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
